Karnataka BJP releases its manifesto on Monday

The election manifesto for the Karnataka assembly elections was made public on Monday by the Bharatiya Janata Party. The decision party which is expected to hold power in the southern state has predominantly centered around the government assistance plans in the state and guaranteed numerous new projects, whenever cast a ballot to drive.

The first manifesto's top poll promises are listed below. Every year, the state provides three free cylinders of cooking gas to all BPL (below the poverty line) families. During the festivals of Ugadi, Ganesh Chaturthi, and Deepavali, each cylinder will be provided.

2. ‘ Atal Aahara Kendra is a program that will set up a canteen in each ward of all municipal corporations in the state to provide affordable and clean food.

3. ‘ Poshane Scheme: Every BPL family in the state will receive a daily supply of Nandini Milk for free. In addition, the BPL families will receive 5 kg of free rice and 5 kg of free millet each month through this program.

4. After returning to power in the state, the BJP also promised to implement the Uniform Civil Code there.

5. ‘ Sarvarigu Suru Yojane': The party said it would give homeless people in the state 10 lakh housing sites.

6. ‘ If elected, the state government of Karnataka will collaborate with private organizations under the Visvesvaraya Vidya Yojane to modernize the state-run schools.

7. Those who study for competitive exams like UPSC and banking exams will also receive financial incentives from the BJP.

8. The BJP has promised Bengaluruans better living conditions and a more integrated transportation system. The party has also stated in the manifesto that it will transform Bengaluru into a global city.
